Here’s a summary of our night in Instagram photos.
We got picked up in private cars through Uber, an on-demand car service that lets you request a car through their iPhone/Android apps (or mobile website for the rest of you). Once I set my pickup location, the app notified me that my driver was on his way and also provided his photo, full name, car details and license plate. Within minutes, my driver arrived in a black Chrysler 300. This definitely beats hailing a cab (because we all know how hard that is – especially after a party). Definitely a nice touch.
The party itself was pretty snazzy. Cool people and good vibes. The bar was promoting two main drinks: the “Adam & Eve” (Belvedere, ginger syrup and lime) and the “Ordained” (Moet, strawberry syrup and lemon juice).
Staff floated throughout the party serving wine and hors d’oeuvres.
We also received goodie bags including mini jars of their pasta sauce.
